ya'll

mother informed me recently that we will be taking a family vacation and venturing down to good old south carolina, myrtle beach to be more specific.

i've never taken refuge in that state, passed through it a few times but have never indulged in all it has to offer

i'm quite excited because not only will it be my family but two other families that we are close with, and the house is on the beach and i fully appreciate that because i'm from a beach town myself

i love the south and i've always wanted to live there so i plan on taking full advantage of the time i spend there

in anticipation for the trip which takes place towards the end of july the following things will be happening

1. i will be dusting off my mason jar, perhaps purchasing a new one
2. i will somehow get my beach cruiser bike down there
3. i will learn to walk barefoot for consecutive hours
4. i need to brush up on my southern dialect for when i have to pretend to be a local as well as enhancing my new jersey accent so i will stand out from the crowd
5. i need to purchase a karaoke or xbox singing game so i can be a pro at the karaoke bars

From what i understand, myrtle beach is quite civilized but i plan on pretending it is not and exaggerating every second of it
