      bridgecapades

as my avid readers know, i'm a firm supporter of the tappenzee bridge, it takes me where i need to go and it's always a joyous ride. it's never treated me poorly and my ride across has always been nothing less than fun. whilst driving home on friday my sister's car decided to stop working, thus resulting in me breaking down on the bridge. As you can imagine i was freaking out at the horns blaring as they zoomed by and the profanities flying through the air as i tried to get over to the right lane. My father was freaking out on the other end of the phone as i frantically called him, he hadn't known i was even coming home so for him to learn i was on the tap it came as quite a shock. He told me to call 911 and i said no. he told me again and i finally agreed. 10 minutes later and i was being pushed over the bridge by the bridge patrol while a man wearing a reflecting vest steered the car. 20 more minutes later and i was conversing with the tow truck driver while my father was yelling in my ear to talk to the man. They then finally agreed on a place to bring the car so i could be picked up and then something happened...the towtruck driver's boss Lance made him take another job which resulted in him cursing and throwing things all over the truck, still while my father is screaming at me to let him talk to the man so he could find out where he was taking his daughter. very long story only semi long...i stayed at the autobody place until my parents came and i watched family guy in this awkward living room, we then had to tow the car somewhere else because the transmission blew, the anti freeze was leaking andddd while getting the car on the bed the towtrucker put on the emergency break and it got stuck on the wheel, i finally arrived home at midnight and i left connecticut at 330 in the afternoon...awesome.

my sister and i were supposed to drive that car to south carolina tonight and i think it's a pretty safe bet that we will not be doing that
